Whew . . . I’m pretty beat after my Top 10 Best and Worst of 2018 lists, but we’ve got one more end-of-year wrap-up to do. A little peek behind the curtain: I’m actually writing this before either of those two lists . . . and you didn’t even notice!
The great Hannah Montana once pontificated, “Nobody’s perfect, you live and you learn it.” That’s certainly true for me, because while I tried to see as many new releases as I possibly could in 2018, some big titles did slip through my grasp. Hence, we have the Everyman Film Reviews 2018 Bucket List: a brief rundown of some movies I hope to see as soon as possible! Honestly, I’ll probably forget about most of them. But that’s not the point. Welcome back, everyone! 2018 sure was a wild ride of a year, huh? Sure, some important stuff probably happened . . . geopolitically, socially, economically . . . but who cares about any of that, right? We’re here to talk about movies! Specifically, the ten best of the year, give or take an honorable mention or two. And as the title suggests, these are absolutely, unequivocally the best films of 2018 on all levels, without any room for personal bias or favoritism. Come on, this is Everyman Film Reviews, I’m not just drawing names out of a hat, right? (They’re onto us . . .)
Yin and yang, the Light Side of the Force and the Dark. Every Batman has his Joker. And while the Top 10 best of the year lists always provide an enjoyable way to celebrate some really great films, let’s be honest… the Worst of the Year are what we’re all looking forward to.
Well, wait no longer! Today, we’ll count down ten of the biggest stinkers of 2018. But before we begin, a few disclaimers: firstly, these are all my objective opinions. Secondly, not all these films are terrible. In fact, I really enjoyed a couple of them, but we’ll get into that. So without further ado, let's countdown the Top 10 "Worst" Films of 2018! |
