Welcome back, everyone! Today on Everyman Film Reviews we're talking Deadpool 2: the follow-up the wildly successful superhero comedy of 2016. Does it live up to the original? How do Deadpool's "X-Force" look? And what about the Dubstep? Find out below!
So, guess what, guys?! Instead of seeing Ready Player One this Friday night, which I've been trying to get to for a few weeks, I ended up going along to not one but TWO comedies! Good thing though, because they were both pretty enjoyable. So today I'd like to briefly discuss each of 'em: what I liked, what I didn't like, and then pit them against each other and arbitrarily decide which one is superior for no real reason! You know . . . fair, objective criticism & stuff. Let's do it!
"Because that's what heroes do." - Thor

"I am Groot" - Groot
Guys, I'll be honest, I'm super hyped right now. This is the first review for an MCU film I've posted, and because Vol. 2 is released this Friday, let's dive in to the Guardians of the Frickin' Galaxy!
So this was unexpected. But after our first look at Deadpool 2, which played before most showings of LOGAN (click here for more on that!), I felt obliged to say a few things about it.
